UI Label	What the Role Means
Firewood Admin	Firewood staff only
Department Admin	Leads a single sport/department inside a school. Manages events, rosters, and users for that department only.
Account Owner	Highest power inside a Firewood Account. Owns billing, team management, deletes, and escalation operations
Account Admin	Same powers as Account Owner except cannot perform irreversible actions (close account, downgrade plan, some deletions)
Account Member	Operational staff. Can view dashboards and run events they’re assigned to; no access to financial data. Financial reporting will be hidden on the admin dashboard. Cannot perform irreversible actions (close account, downgrade plan, some deletions)
Customer / Camper	Registers for events, adds items to cart / can make payments and register, downloads receipts, opens support tickets tied to their own orders (coming in v3.5) Cannot access admin center

You see what you can change. The role selector disables options you lack permission to assign but still shows current roles for transparency
Finance vs. Operations. Account Members can run day-to-day operations but never touch money or PII exports
